Eight years ago on June 15th at 2:00 in the afternoon I married my best friend. He knows me better than anyone else and loves me anyway. He knows exactly what to say and how to hold me when I am hurting. He is an amazing daddy to Madeleine and Micah. And, he is truly one of the most unselfish people I know which is probably the quality about him that I find most endearing. These are just a few of the reasons why I am even more in love with him today than the day we said, "I do."
Last week Madeleine left a note in my jewelry box for me. She thinks that all things that end in "box" work like a mailbox delivery system. Anyway, I discovered the note, and I asked her to read it to me. She said, "My mommy loves my daddy very much." I am so glad this is the image she thinks of when she pictures her mom and dad because it could not be truer. I love you Justin Jones. Happy eight year anniversary!
