This time two years ago I was just being checked into Baptist Hospital after my water had broken at home. This was followed by a long night of waiting for my baby boy to arrive. Micah was born at 9:13 on the morning of April 11, 2008. This date was only one day before his Daddy's birthday...what a great birthday gift! I cannot believe that my baby is turning 2 years old. He is an absolute delight to all of us. Micah is a very affectionate little boy who repeats everything he hears...clearly, so we have to watch what we say very carefully. He can count to 20, and he knows the ABC song. Micah loves to play monsters and "horsie" with his sister. He loves any kind of ball that you hand to him, but he seems to really enjoy baseball most of all. Playing in the dirt and climbing on anything taller than him are some of his favorite things to do. Micah lost his first tooth last July as a result of a run in with the living room coffee table. He will get his new front tooth in July because we had to wait for his molars. I was devastated when he lost his front tooth this past summer, but Micah did not seem to miss a beat. And, now I am wondering what it will be like to see him with two front teeth again. Micah is a laid back kind of kid which is just the thing that his high-strung Mama needed to teach her how to relax. He is truly a precious gift from God to our family. I love you Micah Jones!
