When I was a teenager I was digging through the desk that my parents had in the living room one day looking for who knows what. I ran across an old black cassette tape that was not labeled. I was very curious as to what could be on this tape. Luckily this was long enough ago that we still had tape players in our house. I popped in the tape and began to listen. It was a tape of my sister and I when we were very young. My Daddy was asking my all sorts of questions on the tape, and it was amazing to listen to my voice as a baby since we don't have any video of me way back then.
It dawned on me over the Christmas break that I needed to make some audio recordings of my babies voices in all of their pure innocence. Luckily a few years back I found a microphone that plugs right into my iPod. So, I was set to record. Children never perform when you want them to. Every parent knows this fact; however, I was able to capture some of their sweet voices. I actually figured out how to link the sound to my post. Just click on the player below, but make sure your speakers are turned up to hear my angels sing. Micah Boo is talking up a storm these days. I really thought he would not talk much since Madeleine is so verbal, but he tries to repeat everything we say. It is quite funny. In the audio clip you will hear where he has learned bits and pieces of the prayer that Madeleine says at supper time. It is really cute...at least their mama thinks so!
