Well, I am back into video mode. Justin replaced my Flip video this week because I was scared Micah would start walking, and I would miss taping it. The boy has been so close for months, but he will take a step and then begin to crawl again when he wants to get somewhere fast. Actually, I know how hard it will be to keep up with him when he does start walking all the time, so I am enjoying these last few days (weeks?) of having my little crawling baby.
Anyway, tonight we went to Madeleine's end of the year program at her school. The kids sang some cute songs and they had a great video at the end to celebrate the school year. I have really loved Madeleine's school, Abner Montessori. Being a working mom is so hard, but knowing that Madeleine is at a place where she is loved and is learning so much makes it a lot easier to take her each day. As I was pulling the performance video from my new Flip, I could not help but take a moment to go through some of Madeleine's older videos. I am posting 3 of my favorites.

Video #3- In this clip Madeleine and her friend Gracie are playing dress up while Gracie's brother is vacuuming in the background...such is the life for a little boy around so many girls. Madeleine has a moment in this video where she realizes that Mama knows best...I know that this will happen less and less as she gets older, so I am so glad that I have these precious words on tape to serve a permanent reminder for her.
