A Night on the Town

Last night we decided to treat the kids to some one-on-one Mommy and Daddy time. I had been wanting to take Madeleine to see Cinderella at Workshop Theater, and Justin took Micah to see Winnie the Pooh. It was a night full of memories, and we think they both had a great time. For this post, I will have guest bloggers to tell of their experiences.

Madeleine's Words- When I woke up yesterday morning, Mama told me that we were going to see a Cinderella play. I was very excited! After nap time at the house, we got dressed in our pretty flower dresses. We went out to supper at California Dreaming. After supper we went to a special dessert place, and it had cupcakes! I chose the chocolate one with three swirls of icing. It was GREAT! Then we went to the Cinderella play. The play was AWESOME! My favorite characters were Cinderella and the Prince. I also liked the evil stepsisters because they were funny when the pushed each other to the side. I met another little girl in the theater, and her aunt gave me some Lifesaver candy. It was a fun night with my Mama.

Micah's Words- Daddy and I went to McDonald's to get supper and milkshakes together. I ate chicken nuggets, french fries and a "banilla" milkshake. Then Daddy and I went to the movie theater. We saw a movie about Winnie the Pooh. My favorite character was Tigger the tiger. I liked his stripes. I thought it was funny when Tigger stepped on Winnie the Pooh. I said thank you to my Daddy for taking me to the movie.
