One of my goals over spring break was to get the playroom organized and all of the toys and books unpacked. The first step was figuring out how to configure the room to make space for a reading nook, extra bed, train table, board game storage, art center, media area...you get the picture. Thanks to some helpful tips from my sister-in-law, Shelley, I made the big IKEA trip this week. While at IKEA we were able to purchase several different organization systems to help get the kids' area straightened up. This summer I am hoping to paint the walls a light yellow or blue with a paint that will easily wipe clean. Little hands make big messes, and I want to be able to clean it up quickly. The kids seem to really like their new space, and I think it turned out pretty great too.
