This weekend we were able to eat dinner with some of our Small Group friends from Calvary Chapel. We have kind of seen each other go through the phases of being young married couples to the changes that come with that first baby and now adjustments for two kids. Anyway, it was great to catch up and spend some relaxed time for our kids to play together. Micah and Madeleine had an absolute blast at their house. They played an played. One of the favorite toys of the night was the really cool Hot Wheels track that shoots the cars off the track at lightning speed. You can see from the picture that my kids thought this was hillarious.

Also, we were fortunate enough to talk Papa and Grandma into coming down to enjoy the nice weather with us. Papa just got a new wheel chair, so we decided to break it in at Riverbanks Zoo and soak up some of the beautiful sunshine. The zoo was very crowded, as expected, but it was so nice to just be outside and not be freezing in fifteen layers of clothes. Micah enjoyed hitching a ride in Papa's chair, and Madeleine talked Grandma into mounting the elephant. We ended our zoo trip with two tired kids slurping on ICEs. Thanks for coming to visit, Papa and Grandma. We loved spending the day with you!
