Many of my friends at work get to hear me tell funny stories about Madeleine. She always keeps us laughing with the things she says and does. I can honestly say that she keep things interesting at our house. Tonight at supper was no exception. We were having breakfast for supper. Madeleine tapped Justin on the shoulder and motioned for him to come down to whisper something. This is not an unusual thing for her to do. Usually her "Daddy secret moments" involve asking for something that she thinks Mommy will say no to...like dessert before finishing her supper. However, tonight her little tidbit to share caused us all to lose it laughing. Picture this...we are all eating yummy breakfast food. Madeleine leans over and whispers to Justin, "Daddy, sometimes I fall in love with bacon." If there was ever any doubt that they gave me the wrong baby when I left the hospital the proof is in. She is a bacon lover after my own heart. Yes, Madeleine, it is possible to fall in love with a pork product. Do you think we should call the pork advertising people? I think this would make a great bacon ad!On a side note, Micah also had a suppertime break through. He learned how to say the word biscuit which prior to this he called sandwich. Go Micah Boo!
