It Has Officially Happened....

I have always questioned my "fashion sense." For the most part I think I look decent most of the time, but I usually pick up on trends after they have passed. And, some trends I just never get into...like the giant elastic belts...I don't even think skinny people look good in those things. Anyway, tonight at the mall I officially fell off the fashion wagon and was run over by the back wheels as it pulled away. Here is a brief synopsis of how it all went down...

Picture a happy family sitting in the food court eating Chic-Fil-A when the four year old daughter of the group peeks under the table and says, "Mama, why are you wearing two different shoes?" Now, a fashionably conscious person would probably have been mortified at this moment. After all we had already walked the whole mall before supper. However, I can honestly say that I have reached the point where I just laughed it off and thought oh well...I knew I would have to blog about this moment as it probably marks a milestone for me. So, to all my friends who still proudly ride and sometimes drive the before mentioned fashion wagon, please just wave at me as you drive by and think about the good ole' days when I actually wore matching shoes.

PS- Pedicure next week...at least they should look good naked...right?!?
