Sky Top Orchard 2012

Last year we made our first visit to the Sky Top Orchard. I have several friends at school that go with their families each year, and it looked like such a special place to make memories. We went pretty late in the season last year, so I was not able to get any of the delicious Honey Crisp apples. They were long gone, so this year we decided to make an earlier trip. We had gorgeous weather on Saturday, and Mimi and Granddaddy were able to come from Florence to go with us. I was so happy to have my dad come with us. Since his stroke in February, we are even more thankful for every family moment that we share together. We added one other family member on this trip. Our new puppy, Shiloh, came along for the ride. He is a super dog when riding in the car, and he loved seeing all of the people and other dogs at the orchard. It was such a special day, and I thank God for moments like these.
