Christmas Celebrations

During the past few weeks our family has been celebrating the Christmas season in many different ways. Madeleine performed with her children's choir group last Sunday evening, and we were invited to a drop-in at Micah's school one evening as well. His class sang several Christmas songs that they had been working on, and he was proud to show us all of the crafts he had been making to decorate the classroom. Both of the kids were able to come to my school on Thursday for a party that is organized for children or relatives of the faculty and staff at my school. Madeleine and Micah had a great time eating and visiting with the other kids, and Santa even stopped by to bring a special gift for each child at the party. It has been a busy but very fulfilling holiday season thus far. We are looking forward to having lots of family members come to our house on Christmas Eve to help us celebrate our first Christmas in our new home!
