Every year the kindergarteners at LMES have a Nursery Rhyme Parade. Each child selects a character from a well know nursery rhyme, dresses as that character and performs the rhyme for parents. Before the performance, all of the kindergarten students parade through the halls of the school showing off their costumes. I have seen this same parade 13 times, but it never meant more to me than it did today watching my own baby join in the parade. My students cheered loudly for her as she passed by waving, and that is what her big smile is all about. Luckily, I was able to sneak down to Dockside Theater to watch her perform her rhyme with the other Bo Peeps. As you can see from the video, she is quite dramatic...where could she get that from...hmmmm???? I wouldn't want it any other way.
