A Weekend with Murray

This weekend Madeleine was given the opportunity to bring home the Dandy Dog class mascot, Murray. She had the best time taking care of him as we went about our normal weekend routines. We had to write a journal entry for Madeleine to share with her class on Monday.

On Friday I was able to take home a very special friend named Murray. When I walked to my mom’s classroom on the green hall, I was so excited to show her Murray and all of his stuff. After we got home, I changed Murray into some play clothes and took him outside to play on the playground in my backyard. We slid down the slide together, and I swung Murray on the swing. Then, I had to get ready to go to a birthday party for Jesus at church. Murray rode with me, but he did not go to the party because I did not want him to get lost.

Murray and I had a great time on Saturday. We went to watch the USC football game at my friend’s house. While we were there my friends, Murray and I watched a movie and played baby puppy dogs. Also, we ate some yummy food and dressed up in costumes. Murray enjoyed meeting my friends: Lily Grace, Jack and Katherine.

Our weekend came to an end on Sunday when Murray watched me get dressed for church with my new hair ribbons. We hope Murray can come back again sometime soon. Thanks for a great weekend Murray!
