Tooth Update- Micah went in on 11/10 to have his new tooth put in. When a child as young as Micah has to have extensive dental work done, sedation is a must. This is the worse part because you have to show up at 8:00 in the morning. The dental assitant gives the sedation, and then you get to wait in a VERY tiny little room for your child to get sleepy. This could take hours...fun stuff. Well, Justin took the day off from work and went through this whole fun process with Micah. Everything went really well, and Micah's tooth was in. It looked a little weird to see him with a tooth, but we were relieved that it was over with...or so we thought. Micah's tooth was in for about 6 hours when he popped out the appliance right before bed and handed it to me with a very polite, "Here Mommy." We both could have cried because this whole ordeal began in July of 2009 and is still going on. Long story...longer...Micah's tooth appliance is being sent back to California for adjustments. The pediatric dentist, Dr. F, was not happy with the fit, so she is going to give some specific notes to the place that made the appliance. Who knows when we will go in again, but we are thinking that we will just hold him down and let him scream and forget the sedation because that part is painful for all of us. Say a prayer that it will all work out for him.

On a brighter note, Madeleine had a Thanksgiving feast at school this week. She was able to do some fun crafts and spend the morning with Grandma Jones. I am posting some pictures of Madeleine with her peeps.
