all kinds of songs(which she sings continuously...thanks). And, Michael is now one of the chief residents at VMU hospital. His specialty is pediatrics, so he is very kid-friendly too. Kid-friendly is code for having patience with young children when needed, and it is often needed. We are very proud of them both. We were able to visit a local historical estate called Maymont. The place was huge with amazing gardens, a nature center and even a petting zoo area. Also, we went to the Children's Museum. Madeleine and Micah both had a great time
exploring this place. It was kind of like our Edventure in Columbia.Madeleine even managed to talk me into making a craft with her...I know...what was I thinking? We made the CD fish,
andMadeleine added on a tail for her special touch. To make things even more exciting Jennifer and Michael pulled out the big time Slip-N-Slide. Let's just say there is a reason that some toys are made for young children. Kids are flexible and they heal quickly...adults do not...and we are now feeling the after-effects of all the slippin' and slidin' that we did. Please check out the amazing video footage. Since I am writing this post, I chose to edit my glorious footage from the clip below. However, Justin's moment of glory was captured for all to share (along with Madeleine and Michael). To borrow and expression from my dear friend Julie, "He's all mine ladies...back off." Oh, it's fun to be the BLOG MASTER!!!
